Delivery and Collection Costs
- Delivery: The costs of delivery will be as displayed to you at the point of checkout.
- Collection: Collection from one of our warehouses is FREE, provided it is scheduled in advance.
- Curbside delivery for orders under $750: $150
- Curbside delivery for orders over $750: $350
- Sample Delivery: FREE
Delivery and Collection Dates
During the order process, we will let you know when we will provide the products to you in accordance with the delivery option chosen. We provide all products at the same time and, unless specifically agreed, do not provide delivery in installments.
- Delivery Timeline: We aim to deliver products within 10 working days of acceptance; however, we will deliver as soon as reasonably possible and within 30 days (unless a later timeframe is agreed upon). Timescales are estimates only.
- Pick-up Scheduling: Customer may pick up Product at Porcelanosa’s warehouse but must provide no less than 48 hours prior notification to request and schedule a pickup appointment.
- Ready for Pickup Date: This is the date Porcelanosa confirms the Product is available and notifies you in writing. This date controls all storage and pickup timing obligations.
- Required Collection Period: Customer must collect Product within three (3) calendar business days of the Ready for Pickup Date.
Delivery Premises
We deliver to the nearest entrance at ground floor level only. It is your responsibility to move products from that point and ensure that access (doorways, stairs, etc.) is sufficient for the size of the items purchased.
You (or your nominee) must sign a delivery note upon receipt. You must provide our vehicle with reasonable access for parking. If your property has restricted access or narrow streets, please notify us at orders.online@porcelanosa-usa.com.
Important Policies: Storage & Failed Collections
1. Failure to Take Delivery & Storage Fees
If the Customer fails to take delivery of Product within 180 days after the Sales Order date, the Product shall be deemed stored at the Customer’s request and sole risk.
- Storage Charges: Starting the first day of the month following the 180-day period, a monthly storage charge of 2.5% of the total Sales Order value (excluding tax/freight) will accrue.
- Release of Product: Porcelanosa has no obligation to release Product until all accrued storage charges and outstanding balances are paid in full.
- Abandonment: If Product is not collected within 360 days of the Sales Order date, the order is deemed abandoned. Porcelanosa may cancel the order, resell the product, and apply any deposits toward storage and administrative costs.
2. Failed Pickup Appointments
Once a pickup appointment is confirmed, the following constitutes a "Failed Pickup":
- Failure to collect Product on the confirmed date.
- Cancellation or rescheduling within 24 hours of the scheduled time.
Penalty: Porcelanosa reserves the right to charge a handling and restaging fee of $125 per pallet (capped at $500 per occurrence).
3. Extended Non-Collection
If Product remains uncollected for more than 30 calendar days after the Ready for Pickup Date, Porcelanosa may:
- Cancel the order and apply a 25% restocking fee.
- Resell or dispose of the Product and apply proceeds against outstanding amounts owed.
