The construction process of the Asian residential complex ‘The Future City’ includes four phases. So far, phase 1 and phase 2 have been built, comprising 2,400 dwellings: 2,200 apartments and 200 villas. It is estimated that the homes will be completed in 2027. The exclusive development is located close to the Shaoxing train station, which connects to access to the cities of Shanghai and Hangzhou.
The Future City’s facilities include a club house exclusively for the residents of the development, which includes restaurants, cafeteria, swimming pools, basketball courts, gyms and other sports facilities.

As for the planning of the restaurant area, the interior designers took into account the material, color and texture of the ceramics to be used. In this way, a harmonious atmosphere was created with the furniture and the lamps. For this purpose, the cement effect model, Bottega Caliza (Porcelanosa), was used.
This integration has been transferred to the rest of the areas, such as the swimming pool and the gymnasium. In the case of the swimming pool, Bottega White (Porcelanosa) with a non-slip finish has been installed. And in the gym locker room, the walls have been clad with Porcelanosa’s Bremen Natural wood-inspired model. The flooring is also Bottega White. The mix of finishes accentuates the feeling of comfort and warmth to the space in the Shaoxing residential development.

Mosaico Prada Caliza (Porcelanosa) has been chosen as cladding, which shows a unique relief and color, creating an elegant and relaxed atmosphere. A perfect design to project a modern and classic-traditional style at the same time. Prada Caliza has also been used on the wall and floor of the bathroom.
